The Oxford Essay Prize invites the brightest high school students to examine issues that matter to them, cross disciplinary lines, test assumptions, and defend their arguments with rigorous evidence.
The essay prompts will be sent to your email once your registration is complete.
Entries are judged by our Academic Advisory Committee, an international panel of researchers from Oxford, Cambridge, and MIT.
Winners will share more than $11,000 in cash prizes and scholarships to join the Oxford Center for Advanced Research Program.
Registration fee: Free until Jan 15, 2027 (then $5 until Jan 31, 2027).
Early bird bonus: An additional $100 on top of your final scholarship award if you register and submit your essay before Nov 15, 2026.
